Festival Blues-Rock Band Lee Lozowick Project

Lyricist Lee Lozowick Brings the '60s and '70s Back to Life

The Lee Lozowick Project

Lee Lozowick is an alchemist songwriter who combines down-to-earth lyrics with stellar performances to move audiences from all walks of life. Based in Arizona, he has been hitting the road for 25 years, playing all the independent American and European blues and rock venues.

In recent years, he has put out three poignant solo albums with his original lyrics, produced and composed by Paul Durham of the renowned American rock group Black Lab. Mr Durham is also credited with tracks on “Spiderman” and “Blade: Trinity”.

Songs from Écrasé par l’Amour (Crushed by love, in 2005) and L’Ange Brisé (Broken Angel, in 2006) were performed by Lee Lozowick and his new band. Songs from Live in Europe (2007) are performed by Lee Lozowick during the European summer tours.

The 2010 Tour will feature some of the songs recorded on L’Ange Brisé, like "Please" - Lee Lozowick's evocative portrayal of human vulnerability. Powerful renditions of rock classics are also in order: Willie Dixon’s Little Red Rooster, Bob Seger’s Turn the Page and The Allman Brothers Band Whippin’ Post, to name just a few. This band can rock from Bob Dylan’s folk rock to Ray Charles’ rhythm and blues and, of course, to the tune of LGB’s nasty and gritty rock. Lee Lozowick is also capable of taking on the heart and soul of classic blues, in his own words or with the legacy of Albert King, Elmore James, Lightnin’ Hopkins, Muddy Waters and others.

Lee Lozowick's deep and gravely voice will be complemented by a four-women chorus with gorgeous voices, a blues sway, a stupendous lead guitar, an inspiring violin, two brothers at the drums and a bass guitar build the spine of the formation, a wild keyboard and flute, and a saxophonist who sets the mood.

Lee Lozowick is also known to draw surprise guests, audiences can expect the unexpected at a live performance of The Lee Lozowick Project.
